Tennessee is a national economic leader, routinely ranked number one in fiscal stability because of our fiscally conservative policies. Ron is committed to ensuring Tennessee remains a national leader on the economic front by eliminating unnecessary and costly regulations so our local businesses can grow and hire more Tennesseans. To that end, he’s working with Governor Lee to increase workforce development programs so Tennesseans are more prepared to enter the workforce and create new opportunities for their families. During his time in office, Ron has also supported a fiscally balanced budget that provides resources for impactful programs in rural communities, assists local businesses, increases opportunities for Tennesseans, strengthens our economy and improves our education system while continuing to contribute to the Rainy-Day Fund. Ron will always fight to strengthen our Tennessee economy.

Tennessee is one of the least taxed states in the country, and Ron is working to ensure that remains true for years to come. Ron has eliminated several burdensome taxes in office, like the professional privilege tax, the gym tax, the Hall Tax and the ammunition tax. He’s also supported several fiscally conservative budgets that have cut taxes by more than $35 million. Ron knows that the key to economic growth is cutting taxes and eliminating regulations. As a businessman, he will continue to work to lower taxes in Tennessee so that our businesses can expand, families can better prepare for the future and our economy can continue to grow.

Ron is 100 percent pro-life. That’s why he introduced and supported legislation to protect the sanctity of life. Ron supported the Heartbeat Bill and was instrumental in getting the “Human Life Protection Act” passed in the General Assembly, which would automatically prohibit abortions if the Supreme Court of the United States overturned Roe v. Wade. In office, Ron will always stand up to be a voice for the most vulnerable because he knows that life is sacred.

As a National Rifle Association (NRA) member, Ron understands the importance of our Second Amendment rights. He’s supported legislation to preserve our God-given right to bear arms and will always fight back against the radical Left’s attempts to take away our guns. As your representative, Ron will continue to defend our Second Amendment rights and support legislation for constitutional carry. We must protect and preserve our Second Amendment rights for future Tennesseans.

As a father of two children, Ron understands the value of a great education system. For our communities to thrive, our schools must too. That's why he supports putting parents in control of their children's education - not bureaucrats. While in office, he's supported fiscally balanced budgets that provided more resources for local public schools, provided more opportunities for students and increased safety measures by providing school resource officers along with responsibly increasing teachers' salaries. In office, Ron will continue to support legislation that provides much-needed resources for our local schools to ensure our next generation of leaders are well educated and prepared to enter the workforce.

Under Obamacare, health premiums have skyrocketed, access to health care has shrunk and Tennesseans have been kicked off their preferred health care plans. While the radical Left wants to expand Obamacare, Ron is working to implement patient-centered health care solutions as a member of the Health Committee. Ron knows that one-size-fits-all government mandates from Washington don’t work in Tennessee. He’s fighting to ensure Tennesseans have access to affordable health care that puts the power back in the hands of the patient.

Ron stands with President Donald Trump’s immigration policies and supports building the wall at our southern border. We must ensure our borders are secure before beginning efforts to reform our broken immigration system. Ron also strongly supports anti-sanctuary city laws in our state and will always stand by our law enforcement agencies like U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). Just as President Trump fought to stop illegal immigration, Ron will continue to support legislation that secures our border and discourages illegal immigration.

Tennessee’s agriculture industry is the backbone of our economy and pivotal to rural Tennesseans. Ron continues to fight for our agriculture industry in the General Assembly, supporting bills that will provide more resources to rural Tennessee and our farmers. He is also fighting back against the Democrats’ attempts to implement senseless regulations and restrictions. Ron will continue to advocate for the agricultural industry and be a strong voice for rural Tennesseans in office.

As our country continues to rely more heavily on internet access, our rural communities must receive quality broadband services. That’s why Ron has been working with Governor Lee and Senators Marsha Blackburn and Bill Hagerty along with local leaders to strengthen our digital infrastructure and expand broadband services to rural communities. From completing homework assignments to supporting our agricultural industry, broadband is essential. As your representative, Ron will continue to work to ensure our rural communities can access broadband services and connect to high-speed internet.

As a fifth-generation Tennessean, Ron understands the importance of our Tennessee conservative values. Our values are threatened by the Democrats’ socialist agenda that will infuse government into every aspect of our lives. Tennesseans don’t support that agenda, and neither does Ron. That’s why he strongly supported President Trump in the 2016 and 2020 election cycles. Ron is 100 percent pro-life, stands with our law enforcement officers, supports our military members and veterans, stands with Israel, supports building the wall at our southern border and continues to support President Trump’s America First agenda.
